Nautilus Homes is proud to announce that South Oak has been selected for the cover story of the Fall/Winter 2026 edition of Florida Design Sarasota.
Located in Sarasota’s historic Cherokee Park neighborhood, South Oak is a striking example of timeless architecture, thoughtful design, and exceptional craftsmanship. Inspired by the British West Indies architectural tradition, the residence was carefully conceived around the property’s mature heritage oaks, preserving the natural character of its setting while creating an elegant home for modern living.
The magazine’s feature, Rooted in Place, highlights the home’s distinctive architectural elements, including its dramatic curved staircase, expansive steel-framed windows, and seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.
This cover recognition reflects the vision, expertise, and collaboration of an exceptional project team. We extend our sincere appreciation to Florida Design Sarasota for this distinction, to the talented professionals and craftspeople who contributed to the residence, and especially to our clients for the trust they placed in us to bring their vision to life.
